Detailed Job Description

Professional insurance agency is looking to fill a full-time position for a sales person selling in and outside the office. We train and pay for education to the right person having strong communication skills, outgoing, positive attitude, friendly, motivated and hold strong work ethic with a total commitment to integrity and success each and every day.

An insurance producer license is required within 60 days after which time, potential $15,000 wage increase and bonus. After license is secured, there is a 6 month training process with fixed wages and benefits. There will be a graduated scale where fixed wages are replaced with commissions and ultimately, set working hours are no longer prescribed.

An agent must develop relationships, evaluate client needs and customize an insurance program that fits them. Agent develops and coordinates insurance protection plans by calculating and quoting rates for immediate coverage action and for long-term strategy implementation.  Agent must meet sales goals, quotas and maintain closing ratios.
